Practice Update: November 2025

Joining Project 6's MAST Team

I'm pleased to announce that I've joined Project 6 as part of their MAST (Multi Agency Support Team) providing emotional support and community signposting for frequent attendees at Airedale Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary.

This role represents a meaningful convergence of my professional experience - combining my years working in HR within the NHS with my psychotherapy practice. Through my involvement with Woodville Community, I've had the privilege of watching Project 6's compassionate team support wellbeing in our local community. This opportunity to contribute directly to their emotional support service at the heart of Keighley felt like a natural next step.

What This Means for My Private Practice

While this work complements my private psychotherapy practice beautifully, it does impact my availability. I'm now primarily operating in the evenings for face-to-face evening sessions at Project 6, with continued online availability and at The Divergent Space in Skipton.

I'm Richard Pierce, a BACP-registered integrative psychotherapist with 30+ years of lived and professional experience. I offer relatable support—cutting through jargon to provide a space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood

What Sets My Therapy Apart

  • Integrative & Practical: I blend humanistic, psychodynamic, CBT, attachment, and creative tools—only pulling in what fits you.

  • Relational & Person Centred: My foundation is empathy, trust, and unconditional positive regard

  • Trauma Aware, Trauma Safe: Whether you’re processing early wounds or recent shocks, therapy moves at your pace.

  • Grounded in Real Life: As someone who's navigated burnout, caregiving, loss, and mental health struggles, I understand how complex life really is.

  • Individuals (16+) and families dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, identity, and relationship challenges

  • Those exploring LGBTQ+, neurodiversity (ADHD/autism), sensory overwhelm or masking.
